The Philippines flag is unique with its two horizontal stripes of blue and red, and a white equilateral triangle at the hoist containing an eight-rayed golden sun with three golden stars at each point of the triangle. Blue represents peace and justice, red symbolizes courage and sacrifice, and white signifies equality and fraternity.
